The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has warned public health officials to watch for signs of the Ebola-like Marburg virus in the US.
In a health advisory issued last week, the CDC told authorities to “increase awareness of the risk of imported cases in the United States” after two outbreaks of Marburg virus disease (MVD) were confirmed in Tanzania and Equatorial Guinea.
The CDC’s warning just followed Anthony Fauci’s prediction that another, much deadlier pandemic is certain to occur, possibly as early as next year.
Fauci is so sure that he actually declared that “there will absolutely be another pandemic”.
InfoWors reports: The CDC also said that Marburg, which has a staggering 23-90% fatality rate, can be difficult to diagnose.
“Many of the signs and symptoms of MVD are similar to other infectious diseases (such as malaria or typhoid) or viral hemorrhagic fevers that may be endemic to the area (such as Lassa fever or Ebola),” the CDC said. “This is especially true if it’s just one case.”
MVD is spread by contact with infected blood or body fluids, not by airborne transmission.
Despite the limited means of transmission, the World Health Organization warns that the Marburg virus has the potential to become a true epidemic.
From Fox News:
The disease has epidemic potential, according to data from the World Health Organization (WHO). It has a high mortality rate – of the eight cases reported so far in Tanzania, five patients have died.
Equatorial Guinea officials reported their first outbreak on February 13, with 14 confirmed cases and 10 deaths. The Tanzanian government announced its first outbreak of MVD on 21 March.
Symptoms include headache, fatigue, sudden onset of fever, unexplained bleeding and gastrointestinal symptoms. Muscle and joint pain and loss of appetite are also common.
There is no FDA-approved vaccine against Marburg virus, but it can be treated with early intensive care and fluid replacement.
Namely, Bill Gates et al. Anthony Fauci recently warned that a much deadlier pandemic could soon occur.
